Who we are
As of April 2005 the Greater Manchester PCTs came together to work collaboratively to support and streamline research management and governance in primary care research.
The Greater Manchester Primary Care Research Governance Partnership (ReGrouP) is a partnership between the 10 Greater Manchester Primary Care Trusts (PCTs) and Health R&D North West, the local NHS R&D Support Unit.
Our aim is to:
- Create a more efficient research governance approval system for the research community by providing a single portal
- Facilitate the smooth running of research by minimising bureaucracy
- Ensure sustained development in research capacity
- Develop closer research collaborations with partner organisations
The 10 PCTs in Greater Manchester are:
